Patient Workshops/Open Houses Hosting a monthly evening workshop for patients struggling with a condition your practice focuses on is a great way to build more personal relationships with your patients and strengthens their connection to your practice. It’s also another opportunity for patients to bring a friend and ask more questions. Finally, team members have the opportunity to encourage potential patients to take advantage of “tonight-only” incentives — resulting in scheduling a consultation before they walk out the door.

Events for Referring Physicians Strengthening your relationships with referring physicians and educating them on your specialty is a win-win. Your mutual patients will thank you when the communication between practices offers streamlined healthcare. Meeting with referring physicians by offering lunch-and-learns or after hours networking is a great opportunity to discuss office practices, technology and patient treatment perspectives.  And don’t forget – people refer first to people they know and like.

The value of face-to-face marketing in a virtual age The need for face-to-face interaction has never been more important. The reality is that both face-to-face and virtual marketing are essential components to any practice’s communications strategy. At its core, face-to-face engagement creates a personal connection and builds trust between doctors and their patients and colleagues. Giving a warm handshake, carrying an engaging conversation, and getting to know people on an individual level can help form stronger, more meaningful, and more profitable relationships.
